  A common trait among veterans is the inability to relax; the need to stay busy or to always be accomplishing some “mission.” In doing so, many veterans tend to forget the importance of playing. Some even forget how altogether. At the Fitzgerald Freedom Ranch we strive to make play a priority. There are many opportunities ranging from a variety of available physical activities to sitting on the deck with friends or just sitting by the creek enjoying nature.
